Oh yeah, baby. We are FLIPPIN like pros now. (not) We are, however, beginning to get the hang of it. A tripod is a must since it appears I have trouble keeping still, unless we are going for the "Cloverfield" effect, which we are not. The most adorable child on the planet is my best subject and here is my favorite from last night.
Hilarious, right? Now you see her, now you don't. She has no fear of the camera whatsoever, that is for certain. She is such a joy, that one.
It has been a tradition in our family, since my children were small, to do a little fashion show after a successful shopping trip. This was done mostly for my mother, but Kysa always loved it. Yesterday we had a fun and very successful shopping experience at Gymboree. (if you have little people in your life, Gymboree has a rather exceptional sale going on right now. It's worth the effort to go forth and visit.) Below is a quick and dirty little mash up of Miss Cambria's first fashion show. There was supposed to be music. I'll work on that next time.
And finally, a little video for friends and family far away. I wanted you all to see Tom with Cambria. She ADORES him. Seriously, adores him and he is just exceptional with her. He talks to her like she is a little adult and she hangs on every word. He shows her all the secrets of a beautiful life; the moon, flowers, bird eggs and feathers, they water plants together, play the piano together, giggle together, and just generally bask in each others love. It is beyond sweet to watch. To translate, near the end she it telling him there is a puppy at the door.
