My Darling Cambria,
Today we celebrate your third birthday! We have had the joy of everything that is you for three years. It seems like a short time, but I can hardly remember what life was like without you. You are such an important part of our family. A VERY important person!
Watching you grow and learn is so much fun for us. You are such a curious person, just like me. You want to know the how and why of everything we do. Almost every time I see you you have learned something new. Last night you and Papa did jumping jacks until you were both too tired to do any more. "I am a great jumper!", you told me, and you certainly are.
You have such a loving, caring heart. The other night you watched me put a new bandaid on my finger where I had cut myself and you were so sweet and gentle, being careful not to touch, but offering comfort and love. You made it feel so much better! You are such a good friend to the animals and a wonderful sister to your new baby brother. It may not seem like it now, but someday Emerson will be your very best friend. You are his big sister and you will help introduce him to the world. He is a pretty lucky guy to have you for a sister!
Cambria Joy, your Papa and I love you so very, very much and we will love you every single day, forever and ever, no matter what. I hope that you have a special, wonderful, birthday doing whatever makes you happy. Tomorrow we will have a big party here in our yard with a bouncy castle, cupcakes with ghosts on them, and lots of presents. We will have so much fun celebrating YOU!
