No sign of Mr E yet. I think he's pretty happy to just hang out. Maybe he'll be a chill kind of kid. If he stays put until tomorrow morning Kysa will start induction at 6:30 am and we should have a new family member later in the day! So exciting!!
Anybody want to make a guess on what these are?
They are pee pee tee pees! Since the next two grandbabies will be pointers, not setters, I made up a little batch of cute little pee pee covers to avoid the inevitable shower every diaper changer of boys gets now and then. They are soft flannel and can be popped in to the washer and dryer and used over and over. What will they think of next? Found the tutorial here. A rock-n-roll version is available for purchase here. So cute.
For anyone keep up with my insomnia, I've slept well the last two nights and have high hopes that we're past the worst of the withdrawal. It's amazing how sleep can improve a person's life!
And, in the, we-can't-leave-this-house-alone category, we have taken this 3 day weekend and attempted to complete the kitchen re-do with the back splash tile installation. The first few hours did not go well, but today great progress is being made.
Most of the tiles are up and we're almost ready to grout. After grout and seal the tiles that have a more pinkish look now should darken to red. I hope. Please. I do this every darn time we get to the middle of a re-do, question my decisions. (Over thinkers of the world UNITE.) Time will tell.
I am pleased with the tile we had custom made for over the stove. More pictures when we've made more progress.
The Marvelous Miss C is staying the night tonight since her parents have such an early morning and tomorrow we will have some sort of fun adventure together before she is no longer an only child. Life really does get more fun as you get older.
