19 days.

Following is the speed reader version of the last few days:

Weekend....house cleaning, laundry, a fast trip to Stitches where I discovered Carol Sunday and Sacred Laughter...lunch at Portillos.....a few episodes of Torchwood.   Treadmill viewing the last few days has been "City of Ember" which I highly recommend, especially for its Steampunk styling.  There has been lots of working from home, phone calls, plans for fair trade shopping trips made.....lots of stress over spending so much money that isn't mine. 

Busy morning and then to work at 1:00 where a HUGE Ten Thousand Villages order had just arrived.  Opened, tagged, organized, broke down boxes, wore myself out.  A homeless man came in begging to use the rest room and then disrespected it is so many ways I can't tell you.  Ugh.  Being kind bites you in the butt occasionally.  At least it was my boss who let him use it.  Got my first paycheck!!! :-) 

Celebrated a wedding anniversary with two of my favorite people on the planet...played some quick Plants vs Zombies, talked to another friend who had a fall in Target and NO ONE offered to help her. Something very wrong with that.

 Tomorrow I make my first shopping trip for the store alone.  Monday we are completely re-organizing the store to make room for all the new stuff coming in and tonight I'm a little nervous/excited about all the newness in my life.

Phew......and in 19 days (19 days!!) Amazing Husband and I will be going to the place pictured above to spend a few days breathing in Minnesota, watching the full moon out our window, and remembering what brings me joy and peace.  Bringing Mother along to commend her remains to the big lake.  She was the only person who loved Minnesota more than I do.

You'll get used to spending others' money! It's sort of fun second guessing what will sell. Happy paycheck. Hope your energy perks up... And wishing you a wonderful MN trip. I'd love to be going there too.
