Today, on a day a bit too warm for the beginning of Autumn, I am going on a little day trip to spend the day with a couple of especially wonderful people who also knit. We will be ladies who lunch. There will be laughing and learning and an all around great time. Amazing Husband is taking a well deserved day off and shampooing the carpets. Let's all say it together, shall we, "GUILT". I should be home helping him, but I planned this day weeks ago and he just planned a day off yesterday. That makes it ok, right? :-) (Is rationalization a learned skill or something we're born with?)
The calendar indicates a change of seasons and the yard is beginning to do the same. The pine trees are shedding needles that are falling onto the hammock making it look like it has a furry underside. Funny.
Anyone catch HEROES last night? I only saw the last half hour. What the heck happened?
I was a lady who lunched (late) today, too. A friend took me to see Mama Mia for an early birthday treat. WAY WONDERFUL!! Hope you had a wonderful guilt-free time.
