I mentioned in one of my previous posts that I wasn’t sure if I was feelin the love for the black shawl. Turns out I wasn’t. Yesterday, in a fit of frustration, I tinked her and wound the yarn back up into a nice little yarn cake. I like it better already. Then I drove around to 5 different stores until I found exactly what I think will bring back the love.

I think they like each other already, despite Prism’s bad hair day. I decided on Lion Brand Trellis. Normally, knitting on ladder yarn makes me swear like a sailor. Added to the many and asundry strands of Prism my vocabulary be taking a turn for the worst. I’m hoping that the Trellis will give the shawl a tiny bit of bling punch and some stability.
I’ve also started on the mosaic bag from Spun Magazine.

If you’re the type to notice such things you’ll see that I’ve made a few little boo boos in the bright green section. I think I’m getting the hang of it now. This type of knitting makes for a very dense fabric, perfect for a bag.
And, finally, bracelet #3, which is too long and will need to be tinked and redone.

Brilliant math lover that I am, I neglected to take the length of the clasp into my calculations.
The weather here is much improved and so is my outlook on life. Be well, friends, and hey, if you read this, do me huge favor and leave a little comment. I won’t harass you, sell your e-mail, or in any way cause you grief. I’m just curious as to who is actually reading this. Stat counter indicates there are several of you. Is he lying to me?
